Svečanim podizanjem zastave na Trgu Živojina Mišića, počele su 36. Tešnjarske večeri.Čast da svečano podignu zastavu i time ozvaniče početak ovogodišnjih Tešnjarskih večeri, pripala je članovima Mešovitoh hora Valjevske crkve „Hadži Ruvim“.„Tešnjarske večeri su po 36. put najveći gradski festival. Ove godine veliko interesovanje Valjevaca i svih onih koji planiraju da dođu u naš Grad. Zbog toga smo pripremili lep program. Od 5. do 12. avgusta na Tešnjarskim večerima predstavićemo sve ono što je najbolje u kulturi Valjeva, stare zanate, književne večeri, izložbe, tribine, pozorišne predstave, filmske projekcije i neka sportska dešavanja. Očekuje nas pet sjajnih koncerata, Ana Bekuta, YU…

Od četvrtka, 13. jula počinju radovi na rehabilitaciji raskrsnice skretanja državnog puta IIA-170 ka Ulici Milovana Glišića (kod kafane RR).Mole se građani da izbegavaju ovu raskrsnicu kako se ne bi stvarale gužve.
